This week we will celebrate Divine Liturgy on
- Friday 2nd February at 10.00 am,
- Saturday 3rd February at 10.00am and
- Sunday 4th February at 8.00 am.
This means that our usual Thursday Liturgy will not take place.
This Friday we will celebrate the Great Feast of the Meeting of our Lord in the Temple. It would be wonderful if many of you came.
Rejoice, O Virgin Theotokos, full of grace! From you shone the Sun of Righteousness, Christ our God. Enlightening those who sat in darkness! Rejoice, and be glad, O righteous elder; You accepted in your arms the Redeemer of our souls, Who grants us the Resurrection.
On Saturday we will celebrate the Synaxis of the Holy and Righteous Symeon the God-Receiver and the Holy Prophetess Anna.
Lord, now lettest Thou Thy servant depart in peace, according to Thy word; for mine eyes have seen Thy salvation which Thou hast prepared in the presence of all peoples, a light for the revelation to the Gentiles, and for the glory to Thy people Israel!
Let the godly pair be praised together: Simeon the Righteous and Anna the Prophetess, well-pleasing to God. They became witnesses of the Incarnate Lord when they saw Himas an infant; together they worshipped Him.

On Sunday we will commemorate the Sunday of the Prodigal Son which is the Second Sunday of the Triodion.
I have recklessly forgotten Your glory, O Father; and among sinners I have scattered the riches which You had given me. Therefore, I cry to You like the Prodigal: “I have sinned before You, O compassionate Father; receive me a penitent and make me as one of Your hired servants.
The services will be followed by tea and coffee and a meal on Saturday.
We look forward to seeing you.
